During installation of Gabriel on macOS for the first time, we register a kernel extension in the system.
Sometimes, this extension is not properly recognized by Gabriel on the first startup due to a timing issue in the operating system.
If you are seeing this message, try closing and opening the Gabriel app after a few minutes have passed since installation. As a last resort, you could also reboot the computer.
Another common issue is the extension was blocked by the system. You may have seen the following image.
Clicking on “Open Security Preferences” will take you to the following page. If you missed the button you can still open “Security Preferences” from the “System Preferences” app.
You will need to click on the “Accept” button, as seen above.
