In Gabriel, we have the concept of a “server” or “default” device. Each of the devices on your account can act as your “server” device.
Your mail is always encrypted and sent to / delivered from your own server device.
When you activate your first device, this becomes your mail device. If you activated an Android device first and a laptop second, it may make more sense for your laptop to be your “server” device.
To change where your mail goes:
- Method A
- From the main application interface, click on your profile picture (top left)
- Click on the “Settings” button
- Click on the “Manage Devices” button
- Put a check mark in the device row directly under the “Server” column
- Method B
- From the Secure Mail interface, while docked inside the main window
- Expand the top header to show your mail folders
- Click on the “Options” button
- Click on the “Change Mail Server” button
- From the Secure Mail interface, while popped out in its own window
- Click on the “Options” button
- Click on the “Change Mail Server” button
- From the Secure Mail interface, while docked inside the main window
